Manila Pandan Tea
Brew a cup of Neuleaf Pandan Tea and another cup of Neuleaf Ginger Tea. Mix the two teas and add some coco sugar and a splash of lime juice or calamansi juice if available. Serves two. Enjoy.

Pandan-Lemongrass Delight
Brew a cup of Neuleaf Pandan Tea and another cup of Neuleaf Lemongrass Tea. Mix. Add some organic honey and lemon juice and stir. Serves two. Enjoy.

Thai Pandan Tea
Brew a double strength cup of Neuleaf Pandan tea. Add a twist of kaffir lime peel and chill for a couple of hours. Add some palm sugar dissolved in a little hot water. Pour over ice cubes and enjoy. Serves two.

How to Make a Perfect Cup of Tea
Make sure the tea is fresh.
As a general guide, herbal teas should be consumed a year or less after it is packed. The tea doesn't go bad, but after a year its flavor tends to fade away and turn anemic, and you don't want that. But don't be contented with this yardstick. Use your senses. Inhale deeply and make sure the loose leaves or tea bags still smell strong and pure. It may be better to buy just enough tea to last for a couple of months and store it in a cool and dry place, away from heat and sunlight, protected from air, and packed in opaque containers. Do not store tea in a refrigerator or freezer. Heat, moisture, air and sunlight-these are enemies of herbal tea, whether packed in bags or sold as loose leaves.

Use the best tasting water available.
If you enjoy a cup regularly, you should assemble a tea kettle, teapot, strainer and cups or mugs and use them only for your tea habit. Heat the water in the tea kettle and brew the tea in the teapot. Choose a kettle and pot that are made of stainless steel, ceramic or porcelain, which keep the tea hot much longer. You can use a ceramic tea cup or a mug if you prefer bigger servings. A cup or mug with its own cover also helps to maintain the tea at just the right temperature. A strainer is used to filter the tea free from leaves and other solids. Make sure every utensil you use is clean. It is said that only the purest spring water is used in making premier scotch. In making tea, you should also use the best water available-free from chemicals that may ruin the tea's natural taste. Some people recommend spring or filtered water, but tap water will do. Before using, simply let it run for a few minutes until the water is cold and well aerated.

Four Steps to a Perfect Cup
  • 1. Start off with cold and fresh water. Heat it in the teakettle. The usual formula is 1 teabag or 1 teaspoon loose leaves for every cup of water. If you are going to make iced tea, double the amount of teabags or 2 teaspoons loose leaves for each cup of water. This is not an unbreakable rule. You are free to adjust the quantities if you want a stronger or weaker brew.
  • 2. Preheat your teapot and cup or mug by filling them with hot tap water.
  • 3. When the water in the kettle is already boiling, throw away the water used to preheat the pot and cup or mug.
  • 4. Put your teabags or loose leaves in the preheated teapot. Pour the boiling water from the kettle, cover the teapot and let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes.
  • 5. Strain the tea into the preheated cup. Sit down, sip and savor your brew. This is the perfect time to take a few minutes, relax and let the stresses of the day simply flow away.
  • 6. If you're using a teabag for only 1 serving, you can simplify and just steep the tea in your mug.
